Yoga Instructor
Casey was first introduced to yoga and the power of the breath almost two decades ago. She began exploring numerous practices and types of yoga. Each gave her new perspectives and new growth opportunities in her own understanding of how yoga influenced her daily life. It was the physical practice that brought her to yoga at first, but the emotional and mental wellbeing it provided her was what kept her coming back to the mat. In 2016, Casey pursued and completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Certification and in 2018, completed her Reiki First Degree. Casey’s personal practice and teaching style includes vinyasa flow, all levels flow, restorative, and gentle. She likes to incorporate readings and music in her classes as ways to connect the practice of yoga on and off the mat. She hopes when people leave her class, they feel balanced, refreshed, mindful, and grounded. She is grateful for any opportunity to share with others all of the positive impacts that yoga has had in her life.
Originally from the New England area, she taught yoga for many years in central and northern New Hampshire. She recently made Texas her permanent home and is so grateful for the community at Core Studio - The Pilates Barre for welcoming her both as a Pilates and Barre student and now as a Yoga Instructor.
